ORDER CANCELLATIONS
Please note that once an order status changes to “Processing,” it can no longer be canceled. Orders marked as Processing are typically prepared for shipment and dispatched within 24 business hours.
Customers may check the status of their orders at any time through their account dashboard or by contacting our customer support team.
MISSING ITEMS OR INCORRECT ORDERS
If an item is missing from your shipment or you received an incorrect product, YAMAHA MOTORS ONLINE must be notified within 45 days of delivery.
Once our customer service team verifies the issue, we will promptly ship any missing or incorrectly supplied items at no additional cost.
DAMAGED GOODS
YAMAHA MOTORS ONLINE must be notified of any damaged shipment or defective item within 30 days of delivery.
If your package arrives damaged, please take photographs of the package before opening it. If damage is discovered after opening, please photograph both the packaging and the damaged item and contact our Customer Support Team immediately.
Whenever possible, retain all original packaging materials, as damage incurred during shipping is generally the responsibility of the carrier. We will gladly assist customers in filing claims and ensuring satisfactory resolution.
RETURNS
All returns require a Return Authorization (RA) Number before being sent back.
To request an RA Number, please contact our support team and provide clear photographs of the item(s) you wish to return.
Eligibility for Returns
To qualify for a refund, returned items must:
- Be in the same condition as received
- Be unused, uninstalled, and unaltered
- Include all original packaging, tags, manuals, and accessories
- Show no signs of wear, damage, grease, dirt, or installation
Refunds will not be issued for products that are damaged, used, improperly packaged, or missing original materials.
Electrical components and service manuals are not eligible for return if the manufacturer’s seal has been opened or broken.
How to Return an Item
Returns are accepted within 45 days of the original purchase date.
Returns requested after 45 days will not be approved.
Customers are responsible for return shipping expenses when returning correctly shipped merchandise.
Once an RA Number has been issued, customers should ship the package according to the instructions provided by our support team.
YAMAHA MOTORS ONLINE is not responsible for packages lost or damaged during return transit.
After the returned merchandise is received and inspected, customers will receive an email confirmation detailing the status of their refund.
If all items from an order are returned, original shipping charges may be deducted from the refund amount.
RESTOCKING FEES
YAMAHA MOTORS ONLINE reserves the right to apply a 20% restocking fee on selected returned items, including but not limited to:
- Electrical Components
- Fuel Pumps
- Lower Unit Assemblies
- Propellers
- Cowlings and Casings
- Exhaust Components
- Steering Components
- Cylinder Heads and Blocks
- Driveshafts, Crankshafts, and Camshafts
- Trim and Tilt Assemblies
Items with opened packaging or broken manufacturer seals may not be eligible for return.
NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
The following items cannot be returned:
Electronics and Electrical Components
Items removed from their packaging or with broken manufacturer seals.
Installed Parts
Any maintenance item, hard part, or accessory that has been installed or shows evidence of attempted installation.
Tools
Used tools or tools showing signs of wear.
Propellers
Propellers may be returned within 30 days of shipment only if they remain unopened, unused, and in original packaging.
Propellers showing grease residue, water spots, installation marks, or wear will not be accepted.
Outboard Engines
All outboard engine sales are final and non-refundable because engines are registered for manufacturer warranty purposes.
Paint Products
Paint products are not eligible for return.
REFUNDS
Once your return is received and approved, a refund will be issued to the original payment method used at checkout.
Depending on your financial institution, refunds may require 2–10 business days to appear in your account.
Customers returning correctly shipped merchandise are responsible for all shipping costs associated with the return.
PRODUCT WARRANTIES
YAMAHA MOTORS ONLINE sells genuine manufacturer-produced parts and accessories. We do not provide warranties beyond those offered by the original manufacturer.
If you believe your item is defective, please contact our Customer Support Team for warranty assistance.
YAMAHA WARRANTY CLAIMS
To initiate a Yamaha warranty claim, please provide:
- Engine Serial Number (PID)
- Part Number being claimed
- YAMAHA MOTORS ONLINE Order Number
If necessary, we will issue a Return Authorization Number for inspection purposes.
Customers are responsible for shipping expenses associated with warranty claims.
Warranty investigations may take up to 90 days to complete.
If a warranty claim is approved, a replacement part will be ordered and shipped once received at our warehouse.
Warranty claims cannot be expedited.
Customers who require a replacement immediately may purchase a new item while waiting for the claim decision. If the claim is approved, the original purchase amount will be refunded.
Yamaha Genuine Parts Warranty Periods
- Consumer-use Yamaha parts and accessories – 1 Year
- Commercial or guide-use Yamaha parts and accessories – 90 Days
- Replacement electrical components – 30 Days
- Yamaha apparel – 90 Days
